About Boerne

A treasure situated in the Texas Hill Country, Boerne (we say it like "Bernie") combines the best of past and present.  German immigrants settled here over 150 years ago, attracted by the healing powers of the clean air and cool waters of Cibolo Creek.  More than 140 historic structures remain as evidence to the community's respect for our cultural heritage.  It is, for sure, a sight to see.  But is those who live here who experience the magic of this town on a daily basis.

The Boerne Chamber of Commerce is a great resource to our vibrant and rapidly-expanding business community.  In addition to the Chamber's main web site, they also run the Boerne Convention and Visitors Bureau site, a resource to thousands of annual tourists who come for the shopping, attractions, dining and great weather.

In 2005, CNN's Money magazine ranked Boerne as one of the top 100 places to live in the United states.
